Camp Hope

Camp Hope is a Jaycee camp located on Lake Hartwell at the Clemson University Outdoor Lab.

What will my room be like?

Lodging is provided in cabins that can accommodate 10 people and are equipped with 10 single beds, dressers, chairs, a large study, bathroom, heat and lighting.


Is there an emergency number?

Yes.  In the case of an emergency, the Camp Director can be reached at 864-646-7502.  Please only use this number in the case of an emergency!


Are there any activities at the location?

Yes, but you may not have much time to participate.  The weekend is designed to be relatively full.  In the case that there is free time, there are several trails that can be walked as well as a frisbee golf course and other outdoor activities.

Directions

The  Camp  Hope  facility  is  located at the Clemson University Outdoor Lab on  Lake  Hartwell between  Clemson  and  Anderson,  off  US Highway 76.

 
 

From Greenville

From  I-85,  take  Exit  19B  (Hwy  76)  toward  Clemson.  Drive  7.5  miles  (through  Sandy  Springs  and Pendelton, and past Tri-County Tech on the right) to Queen Road (first left after Tri-County Tech).  The road is marked by a large blue T. Ed Garrison Livestock Arena sign on the left.  Drive 2.9 miles and turn left at the Clemson Outdoor Lab sign.  Keep left at the fork in the road.  Kresge Hall is at the end of the road.

Parking is available on the right just before you reach the Hall. 

From Clemson

Take Hwy 123 to Hwy 76 toward Anderson.  Drive 3.3 miles to Queen Road and turn right.   The road is marked by a large blue T. Ed Garrison Livestock Arena sign on the left.  Drive 2.9 miles and turn left at the Clemson Outdoor Lab sign.  Keep left at the fork in the road.  Kresge Hall is at the end of the road. 

Parking is available on the right just before you reach the Hall.
